The Philips CX50 is a premium portable cardiovascular ultrasound machine that’s considered as one of the two best portable cardiac point-of-care ultrasound machines available.
With high-end features found on the larger console-based systems, it provides better penetration in difficult-to-image patients, premium image quality, new transducers designed for surgical situations, and advanced analysis software.  With these advanced features, one may think it is complicated to use but in fact, it is user-friendly.  Its compact size allows it to be an excellent system for needle-guidance procedures in MSK, vascular access, pain management, and surgical situations.
The refurbished CX50, though pricier than some, includes many of the advanced features found on the popular Philips ie33, such as PureWave transducer technology.  With its advanced features and excellent imaging, it is no question why it sits on top of cardiovascular ultrasound machines.
