TEK Medical Systems, an exciting start-up and soon to be a global provider of new and refurbished medical devices and life-cycle management services, is hiring for the position of Director of Procurement in our Irvine, California office.  This position is strategic to the success of the company in the dynamic medical device industry reporting to the founder of TEK Medical Systems.

The position is responsible for the following duties:

• Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned to the company’s needs
• Issue Purchase Orders for customer orders and inventory builds.
• Be responsible for inventory turns and ensuring correct mix of products are in inventory at all times to support customer demand.
• On-line strategy as it relates to Procurement.
• Ensure parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time to meet sales pipeline.
• Identify new suppliers, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate.
• Foster close working relationships with associated departments – Sales, Engineering and Production, Business Development to develop re-sale pricing strategy.
• Material Costs – stringent material control is required to assure company targets are met.  This includes spend, usage, scrap, inventory levels.
• Full involvement specifically with technical and sales departments on the evaluation of new and existing materials and their successful integration to the supply chain and product life cycle. This will include identifying current and future trends in the global market place.

The successful candidates will have at least 3 years’ experience building supplier relationships on a global level.

TEK Medical Systems, an exciting start-up and soon to be a global provider of new and refurbished medical devices and life-cycle management services, is hiring for two open Account Manager Positions in our Irvine, California office.  These exciting positions are entry level sales opportunities in the dynamic medical device industry reporting to the founder of TEK Medical Systems.

Account Executives are responsible for pro-actively selling our diverse portfolio of medical devices which include complete systems and spare parts. The modalities encompass imaging equipment, patient monitors, GI Scopes and other medical related equipment and technical services. Our customers include Hospitals, Medical Centers, Physicians and other healthcare providers.

The successful candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience building customer relationships on a regional level and have successful experience selling medical devices and services including repair, service contracts, removal service and training in the past.

Candidates with a successful track record in other business to business sales will also be considered. There will be minimal overnight travel required and working hours are from 7:30am PST to 4:30 PST.  Compensation is salary and commission.
